The best advice for playing Craps is to learn the rules of the game before you play. Craps is a difficult game to understand and master because there are many ways to place your bets. You want to be sure of the rules of Caps before risking your money. Craps is based on throwing the dice in turn. The opening throw is called the Come Out roll. If you roll 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12, you win the Craps game on your first roll. Not bad at all. But when you roll 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, you have what is called a Point and you must roll again.
The table has a center area, for placing Proposition bets. In addition the table includes two side areas on the Craps table for placing bets. These two side table areas are called Pass and Don't Pass line bets, Come and Don't Come bets, Odds bet, Place bets and Field bets.
Winning/losing plays
Pass Bets / Don't Bets - In the first case, when you get 7 or 11 in a Come Out bet, you will win, while 2, 3, or 12 makes you lose. In the second case you win with 2 or 3 and lose with 7 or 11. If you get 12, you tie and roll again. This is called Don't Bets Tie
Types of bets
Pass Line Bet - If you roll 7 or 11 it is called a Natural Win. If you roll and get 2, 3, or 12, that's called a Natural Loss or Craps. In Craps, if you place a bet only after you fix the Point on the pass line, this is called Come Bet .
Odds on Pass Line Bet - This means you take odds with another bet when you roll a Point. If you gambled on the Come Bet as opposed to the Pass Line bet, this is called Odds on Come Bet . The opposite is if you win on 2 or 3, and losing on 7 or 11, which is called a Don't Come Bet .
Place Bets - When fixing the Point in Craps and rolling out a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, you can make this bet called Place Bets .
Field Bets - You stake everything in the Craps games on one roll of dice and hope you roll the winning numbers: 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12. Big Six, Big Eight Bets - This means you are wagering that 6 or 8 will come up sooner than a 7, in return you win 1:1 odds.
