Baccarat is a community or neighborhood game, where players are concerned with the outcome of one hand only. This game is the player (Punto) playing against the Banker (Banco), each one wanting to win one hand valued at 9 points. Despite its straightforwardness - the object of the game is to get as close to nine as possible. Baccarat has a glamorous aura and is played by high rollers, princes and even James Bond. Baccarat is also called Punto Banco. The Baccarat Shoe holds the card pack and it remains with the same player as long as Banco is winning. Wager on Punto or Banco. The online Baccarat players who is Banco can only bet on Banco. If Punto wins, it transfers it to the next player. Banco wins more often than Punto. If you are Banco, then the online casino will earn 5% commission from your winnings.
How to play
• Sit down at the online baccarat table.
• Ask the amount of the baccarat table minimum. Leave if the amount is too steep or change your money into chips if it's within your means.
• Accept two cards from the online baccarat dealer, who also holds two cards
• Both sides compare card values and the highest to 9 wins.
• Sometimes both are dealt a Baccarat hand of 9; the dealer will take back both sets of cards only to deal another round.
• If you have an 8 or 9, this is termed a 'Natural'.
• The player who gets closest to 9 wins baccarat.
Rules
1) In Baccarat, twos through nines are counted at face value
2) Tens and all jacks, queens and kings count as zero
3) Aces count as one.
4) Suit is extraneous in Baccarat. 5) When your hand of cards value reach double figures, the left digit is removed.
